Half-Assing is a Virtue
Worth is inherent: if life is precious and you are life, you are worthy. Everything is. I'm showing you that with my sleep-rumpled hair and my cussing.

When I am working in the Little Temple at our home, I light a pillar candle on the altar.
Day by day I've watched the stem rise, the buds ripen, petals unfolding. Today the third bud is opening, so if I let this plant be a place where my attention returns for respite, I can feel them open, slowly, over the course of the day. It slows down my whole sense of being to do this.
My aim is that you will finish this feeling galvanized, connected, and resourced.
